Every Lines & Paint sign starts as a custom design, carved from high-density urethane (HDU) — a professional sign material with the look of carved wood that won't rot, crack, or warp outdoors. Each piece is hand-finished and hand-painted, making your sign a one-of-a-kind work of art built to last for decades.

  1. Consultation

We start with your vision. Inspiration photos or a Pinterest board are always welcome — the more I can see what you love, the better.

2. Design

I create a to-scale digital mockup of your sign on a photo of your own home, with up to two rounds of revisions included. You'll see exactly how it looks and fits before anything is carved.

3. Production

Once you approve the design, I carve, paint, and finish your sign by hand — typically complete within four weeks of contract and deposit.

Pricing + Details

Pricing starts at $140 per square foot, with a six-square-foot minimum. Most house signs run 3–5 ft wide by 2–4 ft tall.

Design fee: $500, non-refundable, covering two digital mockups — credited in full toward your final invoice.

Materials: every sign is carved from 1.5-inch HDU, a weatherproof, lightweight material that holds fine carving detail and stands up to coastal weather, then finished in high-quality enamel for lasting color and protection.

Installation: I don't install signs myself, but I'll provide clear mounting guidance for your installer.
